I have never been the best partner but I try to work harder
when doing group work because I do not want to anger or disappoint the team. Working
in teams is an important part of our community because it makes us work harder
and build confidence in one another.
It also helps us learn the concept we are presenting and
learn the concepts others are presenting to us because every presentation has a
little bit of the teams personality in it that makes the presentation more
appealing and interesting. For example, some are very comedic and others are
very smart and informative.
The films are also going to help the health of our community
because the first one went very well, many showed up and contributed, they
brought food to share with everyone and everyone was in a happy mood. A great
amount of our learning has to do with the emphasis on community because most of
the work and activities have to do with everyone getting involved and communicating.
Hi there. I respond where you wrote "Working in teams is an important part of our community because it makes us work harder and build confidence in one another." I agree because if we didn't have group studies we wouldn't be a stronger community. The picture shows that group work is to be teamed up and work together. It doesn't only help our community grow stronger but it helps us learn from others as well. Your post made me feel that it's better to work in groups because you have a better understanding of the project but also helps you build a friendship between your classmates or that you can count on working as a group if your committed. This blog made me think that some people rather work alone but trying to build a community and work hard for a grade can help you have a interest in working as a team. Do you think your ideas relate to only school work or everything overall? Check out my entry about "Don't judge before knowing and it follows a little bit of what you where trying to say. Working in a team (duet) helps you succeed to what you want to accomplish.
ReplyDeleteBayani Blogger: Straight To The Point- “Teamwork”
ReplyDeleteHello. I liked you blog about teamwork. It was from your personal perspective and had a lot of thought that went into it. I like that you included the learning and presenting concepts. To make a stronger point you could have used statistical tables and used numbers. Is there a specific source that you learned this information or did you just use you own experiences?
HI I really liked your blog about teamwork. I agree with you when you talked about not wanting to be the only person not doing the work. It's nice to be in a group where everyone helps with the project and not only one person is doing all the work. I would have liked to read more about why the films are good for socializing and educational at the same time.
ReplyDeleteHey Alex. I'm a blogger over at City College. I really enjoyed this piece on teamwork. I like how you related the facts of all the things that we do in teamwork, affecting the community. I don't know why you only have two blogs, but I suggest you write more. I really enjoyed reading this one. Also try changing the font color or background scheme to make it easier on the readers eyes.
